Meet Recap

The varsity bowlers competed in a doubles tournament Sunday. The team of Alex Clifford and A.J. Speer made the cut in qualifying as did the team of Sean Furness and Drew Sagowitz. Jake Phelps and Ryan Little had a fine day but missed the cut by a mere 13 pins.

Sean and Drew were the victims of some very unlucky breaks and fell to a Roseville team in the first round of match play. Alex and A.J. won their first two matches, then fell to the same Roseville team in the round of 8.

All in all, it was a good day for the team members. In qualifying rounds, A.J. Speer shot games of 247,226,186 for a nice 659 series. Drew Sagowitz rolled a 226, Ryan Little 212, Jake Phelps 226, Emerson Stuver 243.
