Game Recap

The Clarkston Varsity Girls Volleyball team began their season with a second place tournament finish hosted by Lake Orion High School where there were 20 schools competing. The girls went 3-0 in pool play with wins over Salem High 25-22, 25-14; Troy Athens 25-14, 25-14; and Frankenmuth 25-11, 25-13. The Wolves were seeded second going into the playoffs where they faced Flushing in the quarterfinals (25-17, 25-19) and Marian in the semi-finals (25-18, 27-25). The girls then faced our cross-town rival, Lake Orion, in the finals. This is always a tight contest and this day proved no different. Lake Orion took the first 25-20, Clarkston the second 25-21 and Lake Orion was able to pull ahead in the third 15-9. This was a great start to the 2017 season for these young ladies!
