The varsity team defeated Royal Oak soundly, 24-6. High Scores were shot by A.J. Speer 225 game, 408 two-game series, Jake Phelps 226, Drew Sagowitz 204, and Justin Evans 198.

The JV team crushed R.O. 29-1. Kyle Hancsak led the team with games of 212, 209 for a 421 series. Ryan Little shot a nice 232 game.

Cale Herzenstiel bowled a nice 201 with the JV-B team.

Meet Recap

The varsity girls bowling team bowled against royal oak today. Came up a little short today but gave it there all they never gave up. India Luke bowled her first singles match and bowled very good. Kayla Yenshaw and Hannah Turk won both of there matches. Hannah Allen shot a 176 to win her first game match. Hannah Turk shot a 198 for team high game and shot 372 for team high series. I saw a lot of positive things today to build on.

This tournament was an all-baker format. The team qualified 12th in a field of 22 teams on a tough lane condition. Unfortunately, they had to bowl their first round of elimination match play against an opponent who was the #1 seeded team bowling in their home center and lost.

The clarkston girls bowling team bowled in the Lakeland Ivitational tournament on Dec. 18 2016. It was an up and down day for the most part. Kayla Yenshaw shot 171 and Hannah Turk shot a team high 216 for a team high series of 564. Hannah Turk 216 was ninth high for singles got a medal for it. Our goal is to be more consistent.

The Wolves had a solid home opener against Seaholm on Thursday, December 15. Diver Aaron Hoeksema took a first place finish scoring a personal best or 211.40. Sophomore Calliway Grainer and Senior Luke Oldford Took 1/2 in the 100 backstroke while the team celebrated many personal best times.
